Corrine grabbed Yuki's arm as they walked down the hallway, almost making her fall down. "Yuki! Mr. Davidson gave us too much homework!" she whined.
Yuki made a face. "No kidding," she said. It was now her fifth day attending her new school.
Corrine let go of Yuki's arm. "I'm so glad it's Friday!" she exclaimed.

The young man stepped outside into the cool morning air. Sunlight glistened on his waist-length golden waves of hair as he peered up into the sky, shading his eyes with his hand. He could see the small speck he waited for approaching, and gradually it grew larger, until its white dove form became clear.
